“I had 22 objects, each representing a foot – boot – puppet limb – unknown object, and suggesting movement. Simply because of this possibility of movement, the objects played the role of little persons which could exist in a community. At the same time they were abstract shapes useful for creating numerous patterns. My question was: how many different convincing and lively compositions can I create from these 22 objects? In how many directions can I push the story?
Also: what happens when I combine the photos of just 22 items and create a composition of many more?
The numbers of 1, 2, 3 and more became strong points in groupings. The directions of the items became aesthetic and communicative devices. The role of the symmetry was obvious. What Fun!”
