fired and glazed clay
installations of varying dimensions
“The two groups of ceramic insects represent two armies colliding – black and red, producing various compositions and thus representing each time a different variety of the sequel of events, depending on the current imagination of the creator of the drama. The engaging of the public in a creative act of mindful grouping and re-grouping of elements gives everybody a chance to take part in the creative process. A camera can be used to document the public creating their own compositions.
The visual aspect of the installation:While grouping the entities I pay attention to the various directions in which I place them as well as to the distance among them, the overcrowded and empty spaces resulting in tension and energy pulsing from within. The various compositions are very short lived but are valuable to me as variations in the world of possibilities. I strive to photograph them and later compare them.“
