fired stoneware
each piece 10 x 30 x 40cm
“This piece demands the viewer to imagine the individualcomponenets in movement. Each part is made up of two pieces which can be reminiscent of a foot wearing a boot or a part of a turbine – a mechanical part. The rusty look of the parts seems antiproductive to the implied movement. The parts are not connected into larger wholes and they may be positioned in a variety of ways as long as the approximate distance is such that the eye sees them as a whole. The objects, conceived as anonymous individuals or pairs, bring up questions on humanity, free will and the identity of 21st century individuals.”
